Our Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) is a highly flexible, rubber-like 3D printing filament. TPE belongs to the family of thermoplastic elastomers, offering superior elasticity and softness compared to traditional rigid filaments like PLA and ABS.

TPE 85 has a Shore hardness of 85A, making it extremely flexible and stretchable while maintaining durability. It is well-suited for applications requiring soft, impact-resistant, and bendable parts.

TPE vs. TPU: What’s the Difference?

NOTE: Our TPE and TPU filaments are NOT the same.

Flexibility & Elasticity: TPE is softer and more rubber-like, with a matte texture, whereas TPU is firmer with a glossy finish.

Shape Retention: Unlike TPU, which quickly snaps back to its original shape, TPE may take longer to recover after stretching and can deform under extreme stress.

Ease of Printing: TPU is generally easier to print than TPE, which requires careful tuning of printer settings to achieve optimal results.

Choose TPE when you need maximum softness, flexibility, and a rubbery feel for applications like vibration dampening, grips, stretchable seals, and soft-touch components.
